We started from the role of the museum as a place of cultural interpretation, not just a container for exhibits. The task was to translate complex content into a visual language that is understandable, coherent and easy to reproduce across formats, without giving up institutional rigor.
The strategy was a flexible graphic system built on illustration and a palette drawn from the sea, able to sit alongside educational, exhibition and promotional content. We approached it as one communication system, not a set of isolated pieces.
The work covered the identity applied to the educational activities dossier, teaching materials, merchandising and the various communication pieces of the museum. Everything prioritizes clarity, information hierarchy and adaptability to different ages and reading levels, reinforcing how approachable and educational the museum is.
The result is a coherent toolkit that makes Galician maritime heritage easier to share, improves the visitor experience and gives the museum a visual language that is recognizable and holds up over time.
