The project began by defining the brand personality and the naming, on the understanding that the value should not sit in the product alone but in the system of decisions behind it. We analyzed the sustainable fashion context and found an overexposure of vague ethical claims, and a frequent disconnect between the story told and what is actually done.
The strategic decision was to build Beflamboyant on coherence between values, product and communication. The brand is organized around clear principles — responsible production, vegan materials, fair trade and real sustainability — built in structurally, not bolted on as talking points. The branding was developed to be direct, recognizable and flexible, able to sit alongside the product without overshadowing it and to hold a voice of its own across digital and physical channels.
The website and the packaging were conceived as the key vehicles for the brand. Both put clarity, transparency and the right amount of explanation first, setting out the product, its origin and its decisions without dramatizing or oversimplifying. The graphic system reinforces the identity and allows consistent communication from launch through to the relationship with the community.
The result is a brand with judgment, able to compete in a demanding market without giving up its principles, and ready to grow without diluting the positioning it started from.
We work with product brands that need to build meaning before they scale. If your project is at that point, let’s talk.
